Welcome to Peppercorns Farm Stay! -Riverside-

Peppercorns is a place created for the enjoyment of all.  We pride ourselves on creating a warm and relaxing environment for all our guests and wish you all a very relaxing stay.

Clarence Town is a beautiful small country town located approximately 45 mins north of Newcastle and 2.5 hours from Sydney. You will feel immediately relaxed and at home in a large country farm house and salt water pool with full access to the 15 acres and 250m river frontage for water skiing and wakeboarding whilst enjoying the quiet surroundings and wildlife.

Your Stay

The main house has 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom, walk-in robe and ensuite has a king sized bed with a single bed and trundle. There is a queen sized bedroom off the front sun room. The southern end of the house has 2 queen sized bedrooms with walk-in robes and the rumpus room which connects to the main bathroom has 2 single beds and 2 single mattresses.

There is ample room to lounge around and also numerous indoor and outdoor dining spaces. 2 large gas BBQ’s are located on the southern outdoor dining patio.

You will spend most of your time on the new 10m by 4m deck with ceiling fans and day beds overlooking the pool and Wallaroo national park.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials and there is a coffee machine and milk frother for when you wake up to the magic sunrises over Wallaroo national park.

Guests will be provided with all linen, quilts, towels, and tea towels, Full access to the laundry (washing machine and dryer) will also be provided. Guests to bring their own washing detergent. Other essentials such as salt, pepper, oils, alfoil, glad wrap, etc will also be provided

Majority of the house is air-conditioned with all other rooms provided with a ceiling fan.

4WD vehicle (only) access is available to the river. There will be cows on the property so slow, careful driving is required. Also please close all gates behind you. Please only drive on the designated tracks.

Things to do outside - swim in the pool, walk down to the river, canoe, water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing, chill out around the outdoor fire pit, read, and just generally relax.

If you have a boat the Clarence Town boat ramp is 5 mins up the road. There is a small jetty on the properties river frontage.

The property also has a small orchard. If the fruit is in season please feel free to help yourself to the lemons, oranges, limes, mulberries, mandarins, grapes or grapefruit. Please only take what you use during your stay to ensure the next guests also get a chance to sample the home grown fruit.

Shopping - Clarence Town is a easy 5 min drive and has a IGA, Bottlo, Chemist, Bakery and Butcher for all essentials. For a bigger shop, Raymond terrace which is 20 mins south has a Woolworths, Aldi (where you can buy coffee pods for the coffee machine), Big W and Dan Murphy's.

Clarence Town also has a great family friendly pub - Erringhi Hotel, which has a free shuttle bus every Friday and Saturday night.

Wi-Fi is available on the property and the 2 main TV’s has ability to connect to Netflix etc. The TV in the rumpus has an Xbox and DVD player for the kids.

For wet weather help yourself to the books and games located in the sunroom and  main tv cabinet.
